1 De Haro

San Francisco, CA

Scope: Form/Strip Concrete Levels 1, Mezzanine and Level 2, Columns, and Exterior Walls (5 Levels) with Reveal Pattern

The 1 De Haro building is the first CLT (Cross Laminated Timber) building in San Francisco. It is a mid rise of 5 levels (2-Concrete and 3-CLT) which consists of mixed office and industrial space. The structure was built by building the first 2 floors of concrete then allowing for the CLT to be built at the same time as the exterior concrete walls. Some of the exterior concrete walls that went up 5 levels carried a reveal and offset pattern to match the window system which required extensive detailing and coordination.
